Work Documentation of Faye Shapiro

A collaboration with Florine Leoni Münger , this is a documentation of the video material for the Installation exhibited in Regionale8 in Basel. The Videos were projected lifesize on three screens hanged from the ceiling and positioned so that one cant see all Images from one standing point. The sound  was also divided between three sources positioned at different height in the corners of the space, Urging the people to walk around, look and hear the work from different points of experience.

These three songs were made with a bigger emphasis on the piano as a rythmic tool. I wanted them to “work”. To be like songs one sings when one works. I also tried to make them happier than the older ones. That’s the hardest thing.
